The waterproof infrared rear camera connects to the front unit via a 15m (49ft) video cable, with option for 20m (65ft). This allows to monitor not only the road behind. Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect to the dashcam via the free Blackvue app. You can connect on your smartphone or tablet. It is allows you To set up your dashcam or transfer videos to your device without taking out the micro SD card. It also lets you enjoy the free add-on service BlackVue Over the Cloud. The built-in GPS tracks vehicle location and speed and lets you visualize your route on a map while watching the videos in the free viewer application for Windows/Mac.
Built-in impact and motion detection enable your BlackVue to switch between 3 different recording modes (Normal/Event/Parking) automatically depending on the circumstances.
Videos files are marked accordingly so that you can easily find relevant ones with the BlackVue Viewer.
Loop recording: Your BlackVue automatically writes over the oldest files when the memory is full.
