The HMX 6.5 TW high-performance marine coaxial speaker is now available in the black HMX 6.5 TC option with a cover grille in a completely uniform colour scheme. It’s acoustically optimized for off-axis operation, maximizing the sound pressure level, and features a UV-resistant polypropylene membrane with a Santoprene rubber surround, a basket, and a grille with a high-temperature and UV-resistant polymer to neutralize water, dust, and mud.

The aramid centering with silicone-insulated connecting wires ensures durability and consistent performance over time. The high excursion mobile devices are powered by a solid magnet to deliver high, undistorted sound pressure. With these advanced features, the HMX 6.5 TW speaker is the ultimate choice for marine audio systems.

The product has been designed and tested to perform in challenging environments such as UV, salt spray, vibration, splash water, thermal shock, and dust. It features a 1.4″ tweeter that comes with a neodymium magnet and PEI dome, along with a front panel and an acoustic lens. This ensures the best off-axis radiation and the highest SPL. The tweeter grille, made of sound-transparent stainless steel, provides efficient high-frequency transmission while enhancing the product’s overall appearance and offering rock-solid protection. The long-throw woofer has a 25 mm (1″) voice coil, which is fine-tuned for infinite baffle applications. The woofer cone is made of polypropylene and injected with UV inhibitors, and it has a moulded Santoprene surround. The product also features an Aramid fibre spider with silicone-insulated lead wires, ensuring durability and consistent performance over time. The FEM-optimized, high-bending mobile device is powered by a solid magnet assembly encapsulated in a basket with injected marine-grade polymer.
