Victron Phoenix Inverer 12V/500W 230V

**Description**

**Additional Information**

The Phoenix 12/500 VE direct inverter enables you to power household equipment that requires 230V using ‘leisure’ or ‘automotive’ batteries rated at 12V, 24V, or 48V DC.

**VE. Direct Communication Port**

The VE.Direct port can be connected to:

– A computer (requires a VE.Direct to USB interface cable)

– Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks, and other devices (requires a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle)

**Fully Configurable Settings:**

– Low battery voltage alarm trip and reset levels

– Low battery voltage cut-off and restart levels

– Dynamic cut-off: load-dependent cut-off level

– Output voltage range: 210 – 245V

– Frequency: 50 Hz or 60 Hz

– ECO mode on/off and ECO mode sense level

**Monitoring Features:**

– Input and output voltage, percentage load, and alarms.

**Proven Reliability:**

The inverter’s bridge and toroidal transformer topology has demonstrated reliability over many years. The inverters are short-circuit proof and are protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature. They provide high start-up power needed for loads such as LED lamp converters, halogen lamps, or electric tools.

**ECO Mode:**

In ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby when the load falls below a preset value (minimum load: 15W). While in standby, the inverter briefly activates at adjustable intervals (default: every 2.5 seconds). If the load exceeds the preset level, the inverter remains active.

**Remote On/Off:**

A remote on/off switch can be connected to a two-pole connector or between the battery positive terminal and the left contact of the two-pole connector.

**LED Diagnosis:**

Refer to the manual for detailed descriptions. Use an automatic transfer switch to transfer the load to another AC source. For our low-power inverters, we recommend the Filax Automatic Transfer Switch. The Filax features a very short switchover time (less than 20 milliseconds), ensuring that computers and other electronic equipment can continue to operate without interruption.
