The MVH-S120UBG packs another function that’s a relative rarity at this price point, one designed to enable swift optimisation with Android smartphones, Pioneer Advanced Remote Control – ARC. Pioneer ARC is based on an Android-only app that effectively converts the phone into a powerful touchscreen remote. This means that once safely docked in a cradle, the phone can be used to control key head unit functions, displays and settings, as well as popular entertainment applications such as Spotify and other popular third-party offerings, all in a manner that’s both safe and legal.

Despite being an FM-only head unit, the MVH-S120UBG digitally-focused development means that it can be used to tune into one of 24 present digital FM radio stations, effectively giving users a chance to enjoy their radio station of choice in a more polished form.

Volume and sound quality are both well covered by the MVH-S120UBG, its quartet of 50w MOSFET power able to emit rich, deep bass and high-quality audio reproduction.
