Digital radio DAB+ with seamless blending

The DAB+ tuner receives an extensive range of digital radio programs in fantastic quality—and not just in Germany, as digital broadcasting is available in almost all European countries. If a sufficiently strong DAB signal isn’t available, the tuner automatically switches temporarily to the appropriate FM frequency. “Seamless Blending,” an intelligent data buffer, ensures seamless crossfading without annoying level and time shifts.

Variable lighting

The illumination color of the three-line LCD and the control buttons can be individually adapted to the vehicle interior. In addition to preset colors, completely customizable colors are available via RGB. Additionally, the manual dimmer allows the brightness of the display and button illumination to be adjusted depending on the ambient light. In addition to the 13-digit main display, the clear display features a 4-digit subline—particularly useful for displaying additional information such as the time.

Bluetooth hands-free system

Bluetooth allows for safe and convenient phone calls while driving, and the Bluetooth pairing indicator lets you immediately see which phone is connected to the radio. Voice quality is ensured by the included wired microphone and sophisticated sound processing with background noise suppression. A particular highlight is the ability to pair and operate two phones simultaneously. Wireless music streaming via A2DP utilizes the AVRCP 1.6 profile with advanced control and search functions, including the display of ID3 tag information for track, artist, album, etc. Thanks to the Kenwood Music Mix function, up to five Bluetooth audio sources can be paired simultaneously for music playback, allowing you to switch between the A2DP streams of the individual smartphones.

Amazon Alexa

The Amazon Alexa app lets you listen to music, check traffic conditions, create shopping lists, get the latest news, and much more. The more you use Alexa, the more the DPX-7300DAB system adapts to your voice and personal preferences. To use Amazon Alexa via the app, install the app on your smartphone and establish a Bluetooth connection.

DSP with digital time correction

The DPX-7300DAB’s DSP can improve the sound in your car in many ways. The 13-band equalizer, for example, allows you to compensate for vehicle-specific peaks or valleys in the frequency response, thus ensuring a harmonious sound. Digital time correction compensates for the influence of speaker position on the acoustic imaging.

Remote App

The Kenwood Remote app turns compatible Android and Apple smartphones into a comprehensive remote control for all Kenwood Bluetooth car radios. The app is controlled via large touch buttons or voice commands for basic commands like pausing or skipping tracks. Even more complex equalizer settings or time corrections can be made via the app on your smartphone. The Kenwood Remote app is available for free in the Google Play Store and the App Store.
